Where to get your lead
DO-IT MOLDS
Due to popular demand Do-it Molds now offers lead through the on-line store. The lead is 99.9% pure and is great for those hard to cast jigs and sinkers. The Do-it Molds lead is sold in 5 and 10 pound sizes.
SOFT LEAD
Available through metal dealers and some hardware stores. Lead may be the worlds most recycled metal. Scrap lead in the form of sheathing, plumbing and flashing is soft lead. Check your telephone directory for local SCRAP METAL or SALVAGED METAL dealers. These can be economical sources for salvaged soft lead.
HARD LEAD
Scrap lead in the form of wheel weights and line-o-type is hard lead. Used wheel weights can be obtained at many service stations and tire stores. We do not recommend hard lead for use in Do-it molds.
